Ant developed an interest in how things work at a young age and especially enjoyed Craft, Design & Technology and Electronics at school, which both relate to aspects of 'Electrician' work.
Starting work in 1999 for a Great Portland Street Hotel (London) as a Maintenance Manager, then working in property refurbishment across London. In 2003 Ant started career as an Electrician, based on '2330' principles and BS: 7671 regulations, working across London.
In 2011 qualifications were upgraded to '2391' Inspect and Testing for Electrical reports [ie. Electrical Inspection Condition Reports, EICR's required every 5 years for rentals]. Other qualifications include 16th, 17th, and 18th Edition of BS:7671 which demonstrates efficient understanding of electrical regulations and how they have developed over the years.

Ant has over 20 years London based Electrical experience working in almost all building types, dates of construction and owner type from buy to rent Landlords to owners of 10,000 + properties.

Work has been based around fault finding, repairs, upgrades, EICR reports (1000+ to date, all a learning experience) and design + install of new circuit/s. Work with Lutron, iLighting and Mode lighting systems as well , although Ant has a preference for simple and reliable, (ie regular light switches / dimmers).

The electrical work over 20 years has helped Ant understand the electrical + structures of many different building types , notably regarding fire ratings and sound proofing, an integral part of electrical installation work, for example, meaning extra efficiencies and value.
Ant also studied aspects of other related trades and has worked with some of the best over the years. Also completed many safety courses including asbestos awareness, making for overall improved safety and added value, with Clerk of Works / Project Management services an option, saving customers risks, time and money.

Ant is an excellent electrician who was very helpful when I renovated part of my house. It also involved installing armoured cable, and he was able to advise on capacity and routing, taking into account my needs and concerns.
At a different time I had a lighting circuit failure which he was able to diagnose rapidly and then find and repair rather bizarre problem quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend him.
